We specialize in providing affordable individual health coverage to small business owners, self-employed, early retirees and individuals who have jobs that do not provide affordable health insurance. In addition, we are experts in supplemental health and drug coverage to seniors on Medicare parts A and B. Steven V. Wise, Founder & President
Steven has been in the health insurance industry for over 13 years. He has a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Ohio University. He built his career by selling for a number of carriers, that include:
• Prudential
• Mega Life and Health
• National Health Insurance
• Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
Steven saw the changes coming in the health insurance industry and decided he could better serve his customers by becoming an independent broker. This enabled him to
offer more carrier choices to his customers as well as run his company with integrity
and enthusiasm.

Through Beacon Associates, we can offer all of the best carriers, we can help the customer compare based upon price, provider networks, plan types and needs. Steven hires agents who are willing to put the customer first and will recommend carrier/plans based upon their needs, not commissions.
Rhonda L. Wise, Co-Founder and Vice President
Rhonda has worked in the Insurance industry for over 13 years along the side of her husband Steven. She represents the top rated carriers Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Aetna, Humana and Paramount to name a few. Specializing in the Individual market allows her to be an "expert" on guiding customers who are purchasing health insurance for themselves and/or their families. She strives to fit the plan to the right needs of those customers, along with making sure it is affordable.

Sarah A. Hess, Office Manager
As a graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphics, Sarah brings many talents and skills to Beacon Associates. Her work background includes retail advertising and marketing companies where she produced program materials for Fortune 500 companies as well as local industry. She has been with Steven in the health insurance industry since 2002 when she was looking for individual coverage. Starting as a Coordinator at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Sarah saw a great opportunity by joining Steven in building his agency. Her duties range from making sure the office runs smoothly, a liaison communicating with the carriers, assisting with customer service and developing marketing materials.
Eric W. Walters, Benefit Consultant
Eric was previously a branch manager for a wholesale distributor for nine years. He brings a diverse background to Beacon Associates and can relate to customers needs when it comes to health insurance. He is 100% committed in finding affordable plans to fit each customer's needs with top rated carriers such as Anthem, Aetna, Medical Mutual of Ohio and United Healthcare.
Julie L. Fullerton, Benefit Consultant
Julie has a diverse background with great talents. She worked as a property manager in Phoenix, AZ for a number of years, overseeing various staff members and keeping things running smoothly for over 1,000 unit communities. Once she moved back to Ohio; Rhonda and Steven thought she would be a good fit to the Beacon Family, so she acquired her license in Health and Life Insurance. She enjoys explaining the need for health insurance and helping people find the right plan to fit those needs. Her education in Business, with a focus on Human Resources, along with her love of people, gives her the tools to do this successfully.
Quinten S. Wise, Benefit Consultant
As a student at Bowling Green State University, Quinten can empathize with the young worker as well as up and coming student and graduate. He works hard to find the best plan for those that are getting started and are ready to move on to their own policy. However, being the son of Steven, Quinten has been around the business long enough to see the concerns of all those seeking healthcare coverage. He works to take his clients wishes and concerns and meet them with the highest quality, yet most affordable coverage he can find.
Jim Greer, Financial Agent
Jim Greer has been helping people achieve their financial goals since 1988. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, he endeavors to make sure his clients reach their goals without taking unnecessary risk. Jim believes in using wise investment strategies rather than chasing risky “hot” investments. He tells his clients that investing should not be like “gambling”, rather, investing is applying sound principles and strategies to help each client achieve their unique desires. Jim’s goal is to earn each client’s respect with commitment, integrity and hard work.
Doris Shaw, Receptionist, Telephone Marketing
Doris has extensive telemarketing experience beginning with Olan Mills for 10 years. After her first year there, she was promoted to manager of several stores in the area.
She then worked at Moto Photo for 11 years setting appointments and selling at all the stores.
